Relocation of Deny Optic: a significant step forward
Rick Blankenstijn on Jean Baptiste: “When I first walked into Jean Baptiste’s store, I immediately felt the energy of a true entrepreneur in a cozy, tidy space. I listened carefully to his story and knew right away: he had thought everything through. As one of the few independent French optical entrepreneurs, he is taking a major step forward, focusing on experience, eye care, and strong relationships with optometrists. The premises radiated quality, and the white paper was top-notch.”
The collaboration with Jean Baptiste and his father Denis was extremely pleasant. From the very beginning, we were closely involved in preparing everything needed: technical aspects such as climate control, piping in floors, walls, and ceilings, and drafting the specifications for the finishing work.
Style and atmosphere of the new optical store
Deny Optic took the step from a small store on the main road to a spacious location in the heart of the neighborhood. The new premises are clearly visible from the main road and immediately radiate strength and character. The concept is bold, edgy, and has a genuine café-style vibe. There is a strong focus on the individual presentation of eyewear brands, but more importantly: shopping here is a real experience.
For the experience, we designed a styling chair, similar to the feeling of getting a new haircut at a hairdresser. At the front of the store, there is a café-style area with a sturdy bar counter made of natural stone and striking, stylish wallpapers. The atmosphere is bold and unique. To use the budget efficiently, we incorporated many modular display elements from our new optical line at Forbettershops.
“Perfetto dalla A alla Z con un supporto di qualità per la creazione del mio negozio. Grazie a Rick e al suo team.”

Integration of technology
What is truly distinctive in French optical terms is the focus on eye care, the workshop, and eye examinations as the core of better vision. The low vision concept was seamlessly integrated into the store concept. The best part of the entire process? Brainstorming with Jean Baptiste himself, which brought an amazing vibe and a lot of energy to the project.
